About Dr. Gelfman
Charles Gelfman, MD, is a Board- Certified Internist who has been practicing Internal Medicine for over 25 years. He completed his training through the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine Affiliated Residency Program in New York City. Dr. Gelfman ran a successful solo practice in Boca Raton until 2016, when he joined Boca Raton Physicians, PA, a well-respected concierge practice that emphasizes specialized, preventative care.
Dr. Gelfman's approach to medicine is one that incorporates lightheartedness, empathy, compassion, patience, and an old-fashioned bedside manner. His unique, patient-centric approach to medicine has earned him a loyal patient following spanning decades.
In addition to serving the local community 's medical needs, Dr. Gelfman was a Clinical Assistant Professor of Biomedical Science at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine from 2008 through 2011, earning him an Outstanding Service Award from the University. He is currently serving in the same capacity for the Florida Atlantic University, Charles E. Schmidt, College of Medicine. Dr. Gelfman also serves the Boca Raton community by annually volunteering to provide physical examinations for children participating in Boca Hoops, the Boca Raton Youth Basketball Program.
